The Halloween party was way fun last night! There were so many people up at the house. Our team, plus YWAM, LXP, and some locals. I’m so glad that I already have pictures to show everyone! Here’s Sara and I; we dressed up as a team. If you can guess what/who we are dressed up as, you get a prize.

On a serious note, this upcoming week is going to be different and challenging, but really awesome. As a team, we are fasting for the whole week in more ways than one. I’ve never done something like this before, so it will be really exciting to see God work in all of our lives.

When Jesus talks about fasting, it’s an intimate practice between the person and the Father. No one should know that they are fasting. The Pharisees would distort their faces to make themselves look like they were in agony from the fast and, interestingly enough, this was the first use of eye shadow to have the appearance of sunken in eyes.

Nevertheless, there is a reason for this post. Part of our fast includes abstaining from all communication. We won’t be using the internet or our phones until next Saturday.

If you think about it, pray for me this week. Not for my fast, but that our times of prayer will be fruitful. Hopefully, we will be finding out the third location this week and will begin praying about where God wants each of us next semester. Since we will be in an awesome posture of worship, prayer, and fasting, pray that the Lord would reveal His heart to me.

Much love, have a great week.
