I have puppies coming out of my ears. And I love it!

The puppies are now three weeks old. They are the most fun
things ever, not to mention so flipping cute. I just want to freeze them so
they stay this way.

Let me introduce you to them…

Missy is the first
one I named. She has a distinct stripe on her back like a deer. She is so cute
and so sweet!

Zumi is a very
curious puppy and very cuddly! She was named after Jacob Zuma, South Africa’s
current president.

Bull, or Red Bull as we call him, has almost the
exact same colouring as Zumi. He is perhaps the most cuddly of all the puppies.

Boer is the second
of only three brothers. The other 6 are girls! He’s so cute! You’ll notice that
we have a Boer and a Bull. Together they make up Boerbull,
which is the type of pups they are.

Roxy is my utmost
favourite of the pups. If Cobus lets me keep one, I want to keep her. She is
the daredevil puppy! She is always trying to escape or jump down off my lap
into the deep dark unknown. She has the most unusual colourings of them all.
She’s half blonde, half stripy.

Nico was named
after a friend of mine. He is unusually furry like a grizzly bear! He is also
the fattest of all the puppies. That’s him on the top of the dog pile.

Here’s Scotty!
She’s actually a girl. Cobus named her. When I told him she was a girl, he said
it was fine; apparently there is a girl named Scotty on tv!

This pretty blonde one is Ally. You can see that her head looks misshapen. Kia, the mom, bit
her and her head is swollen. She used to be the lungs of the pups until she got
bit. She’s mellowed down while she’s healing.

This is Angel. She
is the runt. She is such a sweet puppy, but she can hold her own.

The puppies are walking, jumping, fighting, biting, and
their teeth are coming in, so they want to chew on my fingers all the time. They
just started venturing out of their alcove and exploring the grass and yard. Next
time you see them they’ll be that much bigger!
